The year is punctuated with many social events mostly associated with golf events but some that are purely social and lots of fun such as Twilight Golf & BBQ on Thursdays, Winemakers Dinners, Quiz Nights & Friday Night Footy Tipping, and any other excuse for a glass of wine and a get together at the club. Most events are open to members, guests and visitors. The club welcome visitors to the Barossa to both their golf and social events.

At Tanunda Pines Golf Club 18 hole or 9 hole golf tournaments/competitions are organised and scored free of charge (FOC excluding green fees) for groups of 20 or more. In addition to the tournament, options include: group golf clinics, on-course wine tastings ( groups of 25 or more), wine-makers dinners ( groups of 35 or more), novelty items and driving range practice sessions. Groups can provide their own prizes or obtain prizes from the golf shop or through our sources. Details and prices for golf novelty items, food and refreshments available during the tournament, are available on request. A full range of menu choices from BBQs to 5 course meals is available and we can customize the event and catering to suit your requirements.

On-course Wine Tasting, Wine Makers Dinners/Luncheons

Golfers are very often lovers of good food and wine as well. The location of Tanunda Pines Golf Club within Australia’s premier wine region, the Barossa Valley, lends itself perfectly to incorporating the wine theme into a conference, incentive or group golf event. Only available for groups of 35 or more, on-course wine tastings bring the cellar door to the golf course. Perfect for groups who do not have time to explore all that the region has to offer. Wine makers dinners/luncheons provide groups with the opportunity to hear about the Barossa and specific wines, first-hand, from one of the region’s top winemakers while enjoying great wine and food.
