Exciting New Chapter: Me and Toi’s Place Now Open at Tanunda Pines
We’re thrilled to welcome a fresh new era for the Tanunda Pines Restaurant & Bar, now under the care of Rachael Duncan and Duc Dau—two familiar faces in the Barossa food scene.
Rachael, a long-time member of Tanunda Pines and passionate foodie, is transitioning from her role at Hemera Estate to focus full-time on hospitality. She’s teaming up with Duc, a talented Vietnamese-born chef who has worked at FermentAsian, Lambert Estate, and owns Barossa Pho in Angaston.
Together, they’ve launched Me and Toi’s Place—Vietnamese for Mum and Me—bringing a welcoming, relaxed vibe with a menu that blends Asian, Italian, and Modern Australian flavours. For now, they’re starting with a limited menu and weekly specials, with the full set menu launching 1st July.
Expect rotating seasonal dishes, themed member dinners, and plenty of post-round favourites. Rachael and Duc can’t wait to welcome you—whether you’re after a great coffee, cold beer, or something delicious to eat.
“We’re both very excited to be coming to Tanunda Pines—to cook, make coffee, pour a beer, and occasionally play some golf! We’ll need a little patience in the first few weeks as we get our heads around everything and work out staffing and training.” — Rachael
“I love being a chef, and what I’m most looking forward to is the freedom to cook anything we love—from across cultures and cuisines. This is a place where food can be fun and full of flavour.” — Duc
Come say hello and enjoy the new flavours at Me and Toi’s Place—only at Tanunda Pines!
